อัตตา แกลเลอรี่ มีความยินดีขอเชิญเป็นเกียรติร่วมงาน และ พบปะพูดคุยกับศิลปิน ในงานเปิดนิทรรศการ SEAM-less นิทรรศการคู่ โดย คัทเทีย พรินส์ และ มรกต เกษเกล้า ในวันพฤหัสบดีที่ 22 กุมภาพันธ์ 2567 ระหว่างเวลา 18:00 – 20:00 น. โดยนิทรรศการจะมีจัดไปจนถึงวันที่ 14 เมษายน 2567

“SEAM-less” เป็นนิทรรศการแสดงผลงานของศิลปิน 2 คนคือ คัทเทีย พรินส์ (Katja Prins) และ มรกต เกษเกล้า โดยมีเป้าหมายที่จะท้าทายมุมมองศิลปะแบบ ไบนารี่ (การแบ่งแยก แบ่งกลุ่มเป็นสองส่วนที่ต่างกัน) กระตุ้นผู้ชมให้มีการพิจารณาความหมายของคำว่า ศิลปะ ที่เรารับรู้สืบถอดกันมา รวมทั้งลดช่องว่างระหว่างกระบวนการสร้างสรรค์ที่แตกต่างกัน โดยเฉพาะระหว่าง งานศิลปะ และงานฝีมือ เน้นการสื่อสารความคิดนี้ผ่านผลงานของศิลปินทั้งสองที่ผสมผสานวัสดุและวิธีการสร้างสรรค์งานศิลปะที่แตกต่างกันได้อย่างลื่นไหล เป็นการสะท้อนให้เห็นว่า วัสดุและวิธีการที่หลากหลายนี้มาบรรจบกันเพื่อสร้าง “สิ่ง” ใหม่ที่สมบูรณ์แบบ มีคุณค่า และมีความสำคัญทางวัฒนธรรมในตัวของมันเอง

“SEAM-less”, a duo exhibition by artists Katja Prins and Morakot Ketklao, aims to challenge binary art perceptions, urging local audiences to reconsider traditional definitions of art and bridge the gap between different art practices, particularly between art and craft. By spotlighting interdisciplinary artists whose works seamlessly merge opposing materials and practices, the showcase prompts reflection on how diverse elements converge to form new, unified “matter” with its unique value, properties, and cultural significance.
